Stop Body Shaming!

We often hear that our appearance matters the most and we need to look good as per people's expectations but my question is Is this really necessary? Our bodies belong to us and we choose to decide for ourselves, but why can't people accept us the way we are? Why do they always want us to look better even if we are better in our own eyes? The constant criticism towards the ones who are too healthy or too skinny and people always has some unwanted advise to offer as to "please eat less or go on a diet because you are too fat or you need to look like him or her, start your fitness class or start going to gym to burn some fat" or something like this ''oh my good you're so skinny, you will definitely die due to your eating disorder, stop dieting and eat plenty of good food, eat this and that!''

I mean come on fellas! stop making that person feel so insecure about themselves and why do you discourage them just because they don't look ''good'' according to you? You need to mind your own damn business and stop being so judgemental just because you feel that the person looks ''ugly''. You do not get to decide that how a person should eat or wear because you feel that appearance always matters than the actual soul.

Why do we decide for others? Why do we tell them that their choice is too bad or just not upto the mark? Why can't our parents stop criticising us just because our choice do not match to theirs? We fall prey to their decisions and end up doing what they want us to do but they never look back at us and see what damage it does to our soul.

We constantly criticise ourselves for not looking good just because the opposite person looks good and we often call ourselves ugly. But the real question here is "Is it really necessary? Is it really worth it?" Hurting our own self esteem and hurting their self esteem in any way is not at all good and its not worth it.

We try so hard to look good and appealing but still its not upto the expectations. Being too healthy or skinny makes a difference? Does it really? If you think so then I'm sorry to say that you're just a materialistic person because appearance matters to you more than the person's capabilities.

Change your perspective as to how you look at things then maybe someday someone will respect you for being human enough.

To the ones who have fallen prey to this entire Body Shaming situation, I want you to know that no human or nothing can take away your capability to change the world. If you have the courage and strength to face the odds then trust me, you're one hell of an amazing human. You are you! Just be you and you're not under any sorta obligation or nothing can bind you to look ''Good'' as per the norms of the society.

Just do your thing and make something out of your life and I believe in you!
